Environ Hoard
Environ Hoard is I.P. Jones’ in-house freestanding hoarding system, developed to provide a practical, sustainable alternative to conventional temporary hoarding.
Sustainable, Reusable Hoarding Designed for Modern Construction Sites
Launched in 2014, the system has been designed to meet the operational, safety and environmental demands of modern construction and infrastructure projects, while reducing the need for intrusive groundworks and site disruption.
Unlike traditional hoarding, Environ Hoard uses a unique freestanding design secured by concrete counterweights. This removes the requirement for excavation or fixing into the ground, helping to avoid delays, reduce risk and limit unforeseen costs associated with underground services or poor ground conditions. The result is a faster, cleaner and more predictable installation process, particularly valuable on complex or sensitive sites.
A Reusable and Sustainable Hoarding Solution
Sustainability is a core feature of the Environ Hoard system. All components are designed for repeated use, providing a responsible alternative to single-use or short-life temporary hoarding systems. This supports more efficient resource use while maintaining consistent performance and appearance across multiple projects.
Because the system is modular and reusable, it can be deployed, removed and redeployed with minimal waste, helping clients meet environmental objectives without compromising on site security or compliance.
Designed for Stability and Compliance
Each Environ Hoard installation is engineered to suit the specific conditions of the site. Projects are priced individually, with designs based on site requirements and wind loading calculations. Temporary works calculations are provided as part of the contract, ensuring that each installation is supported by appropriate technical documentation.
The system is available in 650mm, 1200mm and 1350mm depths (measured from the front of the hoarding board to the back of the ballast block), allowing it to be specified for both restricted inner-city locations and more exposed coastal or rural environments. Installations follow TWF guidance for hoardings and are delivered in accordance with BS 5975.
Flexible Commercial Options
Environ Hoard is available nationwide on a hire, purchase, or purchase with buy-back basis. This flexibility allows clients to select the most appropriate commercial model for their project duration, budget and operational needs.
